Our Coffee

Our Stimulatte House Blend is a precise and secret blend of two beans from two different growing regions. South America – San Marco, and India – Monsoon Malabar, which has proven to be very popular. We also love to use different blends and single origin beans to bring a more complete coffee experience to our customers. Therefore, if there is a specific blend that you are particularly fond of, please feel free to let us know.

San Marco

In San Marco the coffee is grown in red volcanic ash and at high altitude. The coffee plants ripen in the morning sun and then are protected from the harsh afternoon temperatures due to cloud cover. Traditionally, these beans have a light, fruity flavour, which combines superbly with the delicate nuttiness of the Monsoon Malabar.

Monsoon Malabar

Monsoon Malabar is a process which is applied to the beans. The harvested coffee beans are exposed to the monsoon rain and winds for a period of three to four months. The process causes the coffee beans to swell and lose their original acidity. This results in a flavour profile with a practically neutral pH balance. The blend is heavy-bodied, and is considered to be dry, with a chocolatey aroma. It also has notes of spice and nuts.
